Here at Williamsburg Pediatric Dental, we are proud to specialize in pediatric dentistry. We truly believe in starting children off right when it comes to their dental health. It is our goal to ensure that each visit goes well so that they think of the dentist’s office as a good place. Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.

Our dentists and staff have received extra training for primary teeth. Our goal is to protect your children’s teeth so they can eat and speak correctly. We will do whatever we can to help your children have the bright smiles they deserve.

Pediatric Dentistry

Our entire staff is very good with children. We know and understand how children think, so we can start them off right. We want them to believe the dentist’s office is a good place instead of being scared of it. We take our time with all patients so they have an enjoyable visit.

Sedation Dentistry

We are proud to offer different types of anesthetics to our patients to make their visits more comfortable.
The most common anesthetic we use is a local anesthetic. This blocks pain in a specific area of the mouth. We often apply a topical anesthetic to numb the area before we give the injection.

Composite Fillings

Dental fillings are used to treat different dental problems.
Before your child gets a filling, your child will receive a local anesthetic to numb the gums around the tooth. We will then clean away the bad and decayed part of the tooth so that it is ready to be filled. Some dentists will apply glass ionomer to protect the tooth and nerve.

Dr Jonathan S Waltner is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry and completed his residency at Maimonides Medical Center. He takes great pride in his work and treats every patient with as much care as he would his own children.
